Bubba Love

Trent's parents have a pet chinchilla named Bubba and the kiddos all love him. At a recent family gathering we had a great time petting and holding Bubba, we also snapped these cute pictures of Jackson and his cousins with him.

Somersault!

We have a somersaulter! Jack learned to somersault yesterday and he is so funny he spins like a little top and then tumbles over. I laugh so hard every time.

Barlow Visit

Our friends the Barlows came to visit us last week. It was so fun! Jack was very confused that his Utah friend Bradley was at Kiki and Pops house, but he loved having his buddy here.

Four Years!

Trent and I celebrated our fourth anniversary on Thursday. My mom babysat Jack all morning so we could go on a date. We had a wonderful time cruising up the coast to spend the morning in San Clemente. It was a gorgeous day and we had a great time checking out the surf shops. Such a great outing!

I love him more and more everyday.

Billy's has the best sandwiches EVER.

We thought about buying some new sandals at the Rainbow's outlet, but even at the outlet they are like $40, come on?!? We just graduated... Maybe next year when we have an income.

RUN DUCKS... RUN!

Chasing ducks and throwing rocks are two perfect activities for an almost two-year-old. We will forever miss the duck pond and nature trail just south of BYU campus. We went one last time to say goodbye just before we left Utah.

Throwing rocks into water is Jackson's happy place, he would have stood there all day if we let him.

Goodbye Utah

We officially moved from Provo to Encinitas. Last week was emotionally and physically draining. We said goodbye to so many loved ones. It was surprisingly hard for me to want to leave, we have been working toward the goals of graduating, getting a job, and moving back to San Diego for so long, but when it all happened and it was time to go I wanted to cry! We truly made some forever friends and we had such a wonderful support group of extended family, and my heart already aches when I think about how much I miss them!

Trent's amazing dad flew to Utah just so he could help us pack up and drive home. We rented a truck and he was instrumental in patching holes and touching up paint, organizing all of our stuff, and moving everything into the truck AND out of it. He also drove the truck so Trent and I could both go in the car with Jack to keep him happy on the eleven hour drive. We are SOOOOO blessed to have had him, we honestly would not have finished everything without him! THANKS DOUG!

Moving Day! Goodbye condo, you were such a happy place to live!

It was exhausting, but he was not too tired to clutch a toy in each hand.

I LOVE these girls. I will miss them everyday. Lauren and Erin were a huge reason I had such a hard time leaving Utah, they are not only fantastic moms (examples to me), but they are hilarious and amazing friends. A few days before we moved we went on a girl's night out and got frozen yogurt, it was so fun!

Jack loves his Grandpa Jim! We miss him already!

Bam and Grandad were so wonderful to live by, they always took care of us.

Our last play-group minus a few friends (sad face), I pray that Jackson will meet-up with some of these awesome kids later in his life if he goes to BYU!
