Professional Wedding Pics

Here are some pictures from Katy and Coulter's wedding taken by the beautiful Stefany Willie. We are actually good friends with Stefany and her husband Matt (he went to BYU-Law with Trent), so it was really fun hanging out with Stef while she took pictures as the professional photographer at the wedding. She was able to capture some stunning pictures!

The entire Andrews family

I LOVE these two of Doug with Jack. So precious. Just two of my favorite guys relaxing!

Adorable sign

My dad being silly at the reception... My dad claimed the Brazilian BBQ served at the reception was the best he had ever had, quite the compliment coming from a man who has traveled (and eaten) all over South America.

Mama's Car

With the big move coming up I have had a hard time keeping certain areas of my life organized. Packing and planning is taking over my life! The thing taking the biggest hit... MY CAR! It has been a complete disaster zone. The other day I was feeling ambitious and decided to clean it out, I mean scrub it from top to bottom and empty all the nooks and crannies. What I found was amazing. I found 15 cars, 7 trains, 6 pens, 5 stuffed animals, 5 diapers (clean), an entire basket of laundry, a pair of shoes, and 2 things of hair gel. Seriously, hair gel? It was time. Apparently, when you are a busy mom your car is the first thing to be neglected.

4th of July

I hope you all had a wonderful fourth of July! We sure did! We ate BBQ with family, swam, and Jack stayed up WAY past his bed time to watch the Stadium of Fire fireworks at BYU. We are currently teaching Jackson his colors and every time a new firework was lit Jack would attempt to name the color (he guessed red 90% of the time), it was so fun to see him so excited! The fourth of July was such a wonderful day full of family time!

A run to remember

A few weeks ago, a man maintained his manhood, and that man was Trent. Trent's talented sister Katy has been running for BYU for the last four years and she challenged Trent to a one mile race. Winner could claim the rights to the fastest Andrews family member (Wade and Pierce were no-shows). If you know the Andrews, they are all athletic, and by athletic, I mean outrageously fast, fit and competitive. Trent kept saying "man, I think Katy will win, she is so fast right now." So, at 6:30 pm on June 19th, 2012 at the La Costa Canyon High School Track the race was set.

Some necessary stretching... this was a very big deal. I mean, there were spectators and everything.

All smiles... don't be fooled, Trent was inwardly praying for speed.

On your mark... get set...

GO!

The first few laps they stayed very close

And then Trent started to pull ahead

Trent pushed himself to the limit and ran a 4:48 mile and Katy came in very close behind him right around five minutes.

I am pretty sure it was pride and pride alone that kept Trent running at such a quick pace. He was not about to be outrun by a girl, even one as talented and fast as Katy. Trent's fastest time in high school was 4:37, so he did pretty dang good for an old man and without training.
