Arizona Trip

Right before Trent started work we visited my brother Collin and his family in Glendale, Arizona. It was a blast! Collin has a sweet little girl Gwenna, who is only one month younger than Jack. Jackson and Gwenna are the best of friends. The kids had fun playing (and fighting). Collin and Trent had fun golfing (a lot). And I had fun shopping and visiting with Tessa. It was an all around fun vacation!

Nordstrom's Last Chance store on a random morning, it is like this EVERYDAY before it opens! SERIOUSLY?

Daddy is a Working Man!

Trent recently started his first real full-time job as an attorney (oh, did I mention he passed the BAR??? YAHOO!). He really likes it so far!

Visiting Daddy at Work!
We went to visit Daddy for lunch at the UTC mall (his office is right across the street). The mall has the CUTEST little train EVER to ride. Jack LOVED it.

Trip to Chicago
Trent traveled to Chicago twice in October for firm-wide new hire trainings. He took some cool pictures on his trip.

Working hard!
In his new office!

Baby on the way

So Jack is going to be a BIG BROTHER! We are so excited! Life could not be better! Only down-side is I have been feeling like a zombie for several weeks now. I am just about cleared of my first trimester, so I am crossing my fingers I will be feeling more energetic and less sick really soon.

We have already had two ultrasounds and the baby's heartbeat is like a marathon runner, my doctor kept commenting on it! Maybe we will have an athlete like Trent (as though there are not enough outstanding athletes in the Andrews family). Anyways, we are super happy and wanted all of our loved ones be in on the news!

I Voted

Today I voted for the first time. I have to say, the joke was on me. The moment the polls in California closed they automatically added the electoral votes to Obama's basket? Um hello? I voted, did you not see that? Did you count it at all? It is pretty depressing to go out to make your voice heard and not have it heard at all, but have it swept under the rug without any acknowledgment. How discouraging. There, I said my two cents.

On a happier note, look how cute Jack looked wearing my "I Voted" sticker when we went to vote! He called it the "vote band-aid". If nothing else, I am one lucky mama.

I know I have been very absent from blogging lately, but I am going to do a huge update pretty soon here! I promise!

Birthday Festivities

Jackson turned two! His birthday was on a Sunday, so we had a quiet family dinner and cupcakes to celebrate. Then, a few days later we had the real party! Jack had been telling me he wanted a "surfboard" birthday party, for weeks, so we had a themed pool party. It was a blast! Most of his friends are cousins, so we really just had a pool party with all of our family members! Kiki and Pops were kind enough to let us have the party at their house (especially since we are still homeless). This was the perfect way to have a laid back birthday for my laid back boy!

WHAT ARE THOSE???
I guess I will blow them out...
You shouldn't have!
No, really, you shouldn't have!
Didn't anyone hear me? I do not like cake, or frosting!
I will just put this thing right into my cup holder to get rid of it.
Emmy & Jack checking out his hotwheels.
WHAT? A Michael Jordan shirt? So stylish for a two-year-old!
The cake for Jack's "surfboard" themed pool party.
Luckily Nana and Papa are completely prepared and own a bouncy house. Seriously, they own this!
Blowing out candles again!
Cousins!
Everyone touch the birthday boy!

There was a major present theme, CARS!
Lightning Mcqueen rainboots (he has not taken them off since his party).

Andrews Family Reunion

A few weeks ago we were able to attend a giant Andrews family reunion in... wait for it... wait for it... PROVO, Utah! We just could not keep away! A mere three weeks after our move we were back for some family fun. It was a very memorable weekend and we loved being surrounded by our loved ones.
