Chi Cotaq

Over the summer while we were living in San Diego Trent joined a soccer league in Santee with our cousin-in-law Randy and our brother-in-law Matt. Of course with their mad soccer skills they dominated the other teams and won the tournament. The team was named Chi Cotaq (to poop in some Guatemalan language, super awesome right?).

face-lift

Trent's brother Pierce is engaged, have I mentioned that before? Anyways, he will be married in October to the most adorable girl ever, Amelia. We could not be happier for them. I decided I wanted to make a gift for them, yes, I am weird like that. I decided to give some furniture a face-lift, which is perhaps my favorite craft of them all.

A very happy un-birthday

On the eve of our return to Utah, we had a family birthday party for Jack. It was so fun to swim and eat and enjoy each other one last time before we left for Trent's final year at BYU-Law. We still have a few weeks until his actual birthday but we wanted to be able to celebrate with the grand-parents and cousins. Jack was spoiled silly, his most favorite gifts were a leap-frog computer (thanks Nana and Papa) and a ride-on Thomas the train (thanks Kiki and Pops).

This is what happened when we put the party hat on him
